English Saddle Bag

Made with welted seams for added strength. Great for packing a lunch for a trail ride. English riders often use only one bag, but I encourage you to order a pair, to maintain proper balance. Installing it involves placing 2 dees on the saddle. Every attempt will be made to match the leather on your saddle. Price per installed bag is $250.

Western Saddle Bag

Made with fully collapsible gussets on the sides for minimum obstruction while riding with them empty. Other view shows the bag fully extended. This set of bags, basketweave with a bit of floral carving, and braided together at the top, is $300.

Martingale

This is a reproduction of a US Army martingale commonly used in the 1860's and 70's. You can see it on Kevin Costner's horse in the movie "Dances With Wolves". The brass hearts can still sometimes be found around old Army posts in the Southwest Something like this, basket stamped, would cost $185. It involves placing new dees on the saddle.

Western Saddles

I have not yet built a complete western saddle. I hope you can see from the quality of my work that this is within my capability. Therefore, I am seeking a customer for my first custom saddle. This initial effort will be priced at $1700. The next two saddles will be priced at $2000. Thereafter the price will vary according to customer needs. This first saddle will be a plain leather saddle with your choice of border stamp around the edges of the fenders, seat, skirts and jockeys.

English Saddles

I made this saddle in Spring, 2010. It is for sale at $2000. It is a 17” high cantle, with saddlebag. Custom saddles are offered according to your specifications beginning at $2000.
